Michael S. Waite, 63, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 2nd, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Laurie (Washburn) Waite for 36 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Clarence and Norma (Washington) Waite.
Michael worked as a laborer for the City of Pawtucket for many years. He had a passion for fishing, finding solace and joy in the serene moments spent by the water. He was also a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, showing unwavering support for his favorite football team. However, above all else, his greatest passion in life was his family. He treasured the moments he shared with loved ones, cherishing every opportunity to create lasting memories.
Besides his loving wife he is survived by his children, Angela Waite, Michael Waite Jr. and his wife Rebekah; three grandchildren, Jalina Waite, Layla Bautista, Everly Ferrell; siblings, Doreen Walden, Drucella Wheeler, Norma Waite, Deborah Conway, Leslie Waite, Leonard Waite, Walter Waite, Brian Waite, Kim Waite. He was the brother of the late Keith Waite, Joanne Robinson, and Gwendolyn Waite.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to CNA Wanda Strobert, who provided care and support during a time when it was needed most over the past two years.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, November 7th from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial is private. In Lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
